I began teaching in 1983 and served as a teacher in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools for 28 years. I have also taught in my own home preschool when my own children were very young. The past three years after retirement, I spent teaching in a private Kindergarten. My personal philosophy about young children and learning has remained steadfast….
